Aluka Secondary School is located in Warr, Okoro County, within Zombo District in Northern Uganda. The school is situated near Ukemu Primary School and the Hour of Assumption Aluka Catholic Church. It lies approximately 8 kilometers south of Zombo town.

In April 2004, Archbishop Henry Luke Orombi commissioned a library and a four-classroom block at Aluka Secondary School. The construction was funded by a 90 million Ugandan shilling donation from DANIDA and the Ambassadors of Hope under the Church of Uganda.

In November 2024, Co-operaid, a Swiss-based organization, announced the extension of the "Aloci Ku Somu" project in Zombo District. This three-year initiative, running from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2027, aims to support classroom expansion and skill development programs in the district. The project is a collaboration among local NGOs, including Life Concern (LICO), Community Empowerment for Rural Development (CERFORD), Nebbi NGO Forum, and Co-operaid. The first phase of the project involved the construction and renovation of 21 classroom blocks and staff houses.
